It is 2010 and the world is still spinning. The culture and society of the global village that we all live in is moving and breathing from one instance to the next, and as modern technology has proven, is doing so in a network - together. In the past century the industrial revolution has rolled out it's red carpet to the major corporations controlling the world today. A large part of the control that seemingly exists with these corporations is the creation of copyright. This case study takes an in depth look at what copyright has done to maintain intellectual property around the world in the past 100 years - and how an organization called Creative Commons might be the first steps in leading the way for a near future of innovation, sharing, and creation - genesis, "remixed".
