While still a student, he received British Vogue's "Best up-and-coming Photographer" award in 1992, along with the opportunity to contribute both fashion and portrait images to the magazine.
He shoots almost all his photos with one soft frontal light source and a wide angle lens.
the way in which he interacts with his subjects is inspirational and all his work, especially his portraits, are incredibly attentive to detail. Platon is now based in New York.
(these are some shots i liked from the fashion section, but as i mentioned, his portraits are very clean and well-executed)
