the twelves. ...and richard?
these guys were soo good last night! really laid things down..after their set I talked to João and Luciano to learn that they love toronto, and both have a musical background (luciano plays some guitar and joao plays drums)...this reassured my understanding of their knack for rhythm and soul to a set.

a lot of recent djs (in my opinion) dont quite get that understanding of working together *realllly* listening to the feeling of the rhythm/how the frequencies settle in the head.. as well as each other - all in response to the crowd too.. As they put it "djjing sobers us up completely..." (thats focus)...next time they're in toronto they've promised a jam session with my brother and i in the LAB derek and i have access to. ill let u know how it goes.
